Harriet Hawthorne is a Perth-based songwriter and performer who released her debut single “Flowers Laced With Vitriol” in 2025. She then, at the age of 19, appeared on Australian Idol 2026, making it to the Top 21 and connecting with a growing audience.
After years of writing and performing, Harriet has developed a unique sound. Her music combines confessional storytelling with the energy and catchiness of pop and rock, drawing inspiration from artists such as Joni Mitchell, Lizzy McAlpine, Holly Humberstone, Sabrina Carpenter, and Olivia Rodrigo.
Known for her expressive performances, Harriet is driven to grow her sound and connect with listeners, inspiring young girls and emerging music fans along the way.
