Harriet Hawthorne is an upcoming Perth-based pop artist whose second single and debut music video are OUT NOW.
She released her debut single ‘Flowers Laced With Vitriol’ in 2025 and then stepped into the national spotlight the following year on Australian Idol 2026. Her audition earned three yes votes from the judges and she was carried all the way to the Top 21 at just 19 years old.
Now at 20, she is driven to continue working on future releases and connecting with her growing audience.

After years of writing and performing, Harriet has developed a unique and recognisable sound.
Her music combines confessional storytelling with the energy and catchiness of pop and rock, drawing inspiration from artists such as Olivia Rodrigo, Joni Mitchell, Lizzy McAlpine, Holly Humberstone and Sabrina Carpenter.

She writes songs that swing between energetic and heartbroken, sometimes both at once, drawing on her own experiences of friendships, relationships and self-discovery. With a sound that moves between pop, rock and folk, she has an accompanying visual world that borrows from '90s and early 2000s rom-coms to tell her own story.
